Clarence J. Driscoll, 93, of Brownsville, MN, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at La Crescent Health Care Center. He was born in Brownsville on June 4, 1908 to Charles and Adaline (Senn) Driscoll. He married Caroline V. Moulis on June 28, 1958, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in La Crosse, WI. Clarence was employed by G. Heileman Brewing Co. for 32 years, until his retirement in 1975. He then farmed in Brownsville. He truly enjoyed his farm life, working and gardening. He also had an affection for horses, working with them plowing and planting, from his youth until he was 90 years old. He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army as a veteran of W.W. II. Clarence was also an amateur Golden Gloves boxer, and he enjoyed playing baseball. Clarence was a lifelong member of St. Patrickís Catholic Church and resident of Brownsville. He is survived by three daughters, Sue (Chuck) Le Jeune, Sandy (Ron) Utke, both of Brownsville, Cindy (Chad) Wortman, Trempealeau, WI; three sons, Chuck (Dawn), Edgar, WI, Joe (Cindy) Folstad), and Jim of Brownsville; four grandchildren; two sisters, Lores Marshall, Janesville, WI, and Irene (Tom) Knight, Covington, LA; one brother, Robert (Bernice) Driscoll, La Crosse, WI; and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline on September 13, 2000; three sisters, Mildred, Alice and one infant sister; and one brother, Frances. A Mass of Christian burial was held at 11 am on Monday, April 1, 2002, at St. Patrickís Catholic Church, Brownsville, with Rev. Paul Breza officiating. Burial was in St. Patrickís Cemetery, Brownvsille. Friends and family called from 9 am until the time of services on Monday in Breza Hall at St. Patrickís Catholic Church.
