Gladys Inglett

Gladys Inglett, 88, of Caledonia, MN, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, WI. She was born March 12, 1914, in Spring Grove to Daniel E. and Eliza (Tollefson) Danielson. On June 23, 1934, Gladys married Melvin Inglett.They farmed in Winnebago township for many years. On November 28, 1979,Melvin preceded Gladys in death.

Gladys was a member of the United Methodist Church in Caledonia. She also was a member of the Aidenn Chapter 86 Order of the Eastern Star of Caledonia and she received her 50 year pin on April 21, 1998. Gladys was active with senior citizenís functions, and enjoyed playing cards and bingo. Gladys loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn (Wayne) Klawitter, La Crescent,; two sons, Vernon (Donna) Inglett, and Cecil (Kathy) Inglett, both of Caledonia; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and four brothers.

Services were Saturday, March 30, 1 pm at the United Methodist Church, Caledonia, with Pastor Tony Fink officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends called at the Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia on Friday from 5-8 pm with an Eastern Star service to be held at 7 pm. Friends also called at the church on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
