Leo Gallagher

Leo J. Gallagher, 76, of Weston, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at the Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton. He was the husband of Anita L. ėMickeyî (Pintabona) Gallagher.
Born in Caledonia, he was the son of William and Susan (Thery) Gallagher and lived in Weston for 28 years.
He was a school teacher for the city of Boston where he taught at the Russell Middle School until his retirement. Leo graduated from Boston University in 1957. He was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed traveling. He served with the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II and also served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Helen Fisch of Caledonia; and brothers, Francis Gallagher and Earl Gallagher, both of Caledonia.
Services were held Saturday, August 10, 8 am, at the Joyce Funeral Home, Waltham, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Waltham at 9 am. Burial was in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
