Leslee Fischer

Leslee Lynn Fischer, 43, died Monday, August 12, 2002, at her home in Sheldon. She was born on October 20, 1958, in Chicago, IL, to LeRoy and Arleen (Babiash) Fischer. Leslee moved with her family to La Crescent at age 10. She graduated from La Crescent High School. Leslee lived in La Crescent until moving to Sheldon five years ago. She had currently been employed at Riverside Electronics in Rushford.

She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. When Leslee entered a room, it would light up because of her outgoing personality. Leslee would always put other peopleís needs ahead of her own.

She is survived by her paternal grandmother, Vivian Lutkat; father, LeRoy Fischer, La Crosse, WI; mother, Arleen (Ronald) Nelson, La Crescent; one son, Gregory Charles (Jackline) Fischer, Sun Prairie, WI; two grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Fischer, La Crosse, and Mark Fischer of Kankakee, IL; two sisters, Cathy Fischer, Minneapolis, and LeAnn (Brian) Kruger, Waupun, WI; and by her fiancÈ, Bob Knutson, Sheldon.

Leslee was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and by her paternal grandfather.

Services were held on Friday, August 16, 11 am, at Hoff Funeral Homes-Houston Chapel in Houston with the Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Burial was in the Crucifixion Catholic Cemetery in La Crescent. Visitation was from 4-8 on Thursday and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at Hoff Funeral Homes, Houston Chapel.
