Roberta Burke
Roberta J. Burke, 71, of Caledonia, died Wednesday, August 21, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center, La Crosse, WI. She was born March 10, 1931, in Cottonwood, ID, to William Herman and Gladys (Walker) Reuter. She married Eugene Burke, June 10, 1948, in Grangeville, ID. He preceded her in death in 1984.
She is survived by two sons: Steven (Beth), Redding, CA, and David (Michelle), Florence, OR; two daughters: Sonja Thuney, Redding, CA, and Darlene (Rich) Nutt, Caledonia; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two brothers: William (Kathy) and Wayne (Lila) Reuter; and one sister, Donna Hazelbaker, all of Grangeville, ID.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by an infant son and an infant daughter, her parents and her brother-in-law, Jack Hazelbaker.
Private family graveside services were held at Fern Township Cemetery, near Bemidji, MN. McCormick Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
