Forrester remains hospitalized in New YorkPosted: 8/6/02 Dan Forrester, who was seriously injured July 4 after he was struck by a car in New York state, remains at University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dan, 21, had surgery for a blood clot in his brain, and had surgery on his leg which was crushed in the accident. He has not spoken since the accident, but has opened his eyes. An infection that concerned doctors has now been cleared up. Dan's parents, Mark and Sharon Forrester of Caledonia are in New Yrok, according to Sharon's mother, Mary Colsch.
