A. Milo Omodth
A. Milo Omodth, 91, Spring Grove, and formerly of Mabel, MN, died Monday, February 11, 2002, at Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove. He was born September 13, 1910, in rural Blackhammer, MN, to John and Julia (Tollefson) Omodth. He attended South Fork rural school in Fillmore County, MN. On June 29, 1947, he married Josephine Vitse and she died September 3, 1979.
Milo and his wife farmed in Preble Township, rural Mabel until her death. He had been a resident of Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove for 22 years.
Survivors include one son, Randy (Heidi) Omodth, Mabel; one daughter, Linda Peterson, Houston; two step-granddaughters; one step-great-grandson; one sister, Julis Svendson, Havre, Montana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by one brother, Peter, his son-in-law, David Peterson and two sisters, Johanna and Marie.
Services were held Friday, February 15,p 1:30 pm, at Roble Funeral Chapel in Spring Grove with burial in Choice Community Cemetery, rural Mabel. Pastor Zane Anderson officiated. Friends called Thursday from 5-7 pm at Roble Funeral Service.
