Dean Gjedrem

Dean B. Gjedrem, 47, of La Crescent, MN, died peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2002, at his home. He was born May 10, 1954 in Caledonia to Carl and Leona (Dvorak) Gjedrem. Dean lived his childhood years in the Sheldon area. In 1982 he moved to La Crescent. Dean then moved to Caledonia in 1995 where he lived until 1999 when he returned to La Crescent.

Survivors include two brothers, Dennis Gjedrem, Venice, FL, and Scott Gjedrem, Killeen, TX.

Dean will be missed by his many friends for his sense of humor, warm greetings, and friendly smile.

Services will be Wednesday, January 23 at 11 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Caledonia, with Rev. Rolf Storlie officiating. Burial will be at the Stone Church Cemetery, rural Houston at a later date.

Friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Caledonia, on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of service. The Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia, is in charge of arrangements.
