Steven Mechtel
Steven Leroy Mechtel, born on February 4, 1962, died in Orange Park, FL, on Wednesday, January 16, 2002, after a brain aneurysm in April 1998 left him in a coma.
Steven is survived by his wife, Bonnie and daughter Danielle, his mother Lucy Mae Mechtel and brother Robert J. Mechtel II, all of Orange Park; his father Robert, stepmother Peggy and sister Angela of La Crescent; paternal grandmother Norma Mechtel of Caledonia; sister Cheryl (Gene) of New Hampshire; nephews, a niece, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, uncle and cousin.
Family viewing was held in Orange Park on Tuesday, January 22, with final memorial services to be held at a later date.
