Gordon ėGordyî L. Eiken, 65, of Village of Lac LaBelle, WI, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, of a boating accident in the Village of Lac LaBelle. He was born August 24, 1936, in Caledonia, MN, to Adolph and Ruth (Linde) Eiken. He married Audrey Deters in Eitzen, MN, on July 23, 1960.
Gordon was the owner of The Perkins Company in Oconomowoc, WI; a member of Lac LaBelle Golf Club, Oconomowoc; and a 13 year member of the Village of Lac LaBelle Planning Commission.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; two children, Todd (Susan) Eiken, Port Washington, NY, and David (Stacey) Eiken, Oconomowoc; three grandchildren; a sister, Muriel Gilson, St. John, MI; and mother-in-law, Gladys Deters, Caledonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Malcolm Eiken.
Services were held Saturday, July 27, 5 pm, at Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, Oconomowoc, with burial in LaBelle Cemetery. Rev. R. Dean Smith officiated. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
