Truck stolen in Caledonia

On Friday, May 31, at 11:55 a.m., Scott Longhorn of Caledonia reported the theft of his 1999 Ford pick-up, valued at $20,000.

The pick-up was parked at the car wash on 614 Esch Drive.

The keys to the pick-up were in another unlocked vehicle, a Chevy Cavalier, at the same location.

A Sony CD AM/FM radio valued at $250 was taken from the Chevy. The convertible top of the Chevy was also cut.

On Monday, June 4, Tri-State Auto Outlet of Hokah reported that an AIWA CD player was missing from one of their vehicles, a Ford Tempo.

Neil Schulze of Brownsville reported the theft of 110 CDs from his vehicle last week.

On Saturday, June 1, Emily Mills of Caledonia reported that the windshield of her vehicle had been broken over the weekend. A large rock was found next to the vehicle.

On Tuesday, June 4, Doris Bissen of Caledonia reported that between the days of May 24 and May 28, two statues were stolen from her yard. The value of the statues were not known.

On Friday, May 31, at 6:05 p.m., yellow paint from a paint ball gun was found on the door of the Caledonia Police Station.

On Tuesday, May 28, Marnach Miles of Caledonia reported the theft of 26 cans of beer from his garage at his residence. The alcohol was placed in his garage on the May 8 or 9, and was noticed a week later.

Chad Wiebke, 19, of Caledonia was involved in a one car accident Tuesday evening, June 4.

At 10:32 p.m., a Houston County Deputy reported a vehicle by State Hwy. 44 and 76 going into the ditch, hitting a mailbox and coming back out onto the road.The vehicle came to a stop by Loverís Lane.

Wiebke was not injured.
