Norma Schroeder

Norma B. Schroeder, 86, of Caledonia, died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. She was born September 27, 1915 in Caledonia to Henry and Emma (Kohlmeyer) Koenig. On October 10, 1933, Norma married Herbert Schroeder at the St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Parsonage in Caledonia and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1986.

Norma was a life-long member of St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church in Caledonia.

Survivors include three sons, Norbert (Marilyn), DeWayne (Karen), and Darrell (Sue), all of Caledonia; a daughter-in-law, Karen Schroeder, Houston; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Norma was preceded in death by a son, Eugene ìGeneî Schroeder; and a brother, Elmer Koenig.

Services were held Tuesday, March 19, 11 am, at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, Caledonia with the Rev. Tom Schultz officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends called at the Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia on Monday from 4-8 pm and at the church on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of service.
