Brenda Jarka
Brenda Jeanne Jarka, 50, of Caledonia, MN, died Thursday, May 16, 2002, at Francisan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. She was born June 8, 1951 in San Diego, CA, to Maurice and Blanche (Mora) Hie. On April 26, 1994, she married Richard Jarka at the Caledonia Courthouse. They then shared their retirement from Federal Civil Service in rural Caledonia.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Richard; her mother, Blanche (Mora) Hie; two brothers, Craig and Frederick Hie; one sister, Magda-Lynne (Gordon) Vance; and several nieces and nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Maurice, and her brother, Bruce, in infancy.
Dickinson Funeral Home in La Crosse assisted the family with the arrangements.
