Keith Schroeder and Jessie O'Bieglo, both 18, appeared in Houston County District Court Wednesday, May 15 and pled guilty to all charges relating to the vandalism of the new middle school high school.

They also pled guilty to felony criminal damage to property of the Beaver Creek campground and attempted burglary of a residence in Yucatan township.

The acts were committed on February 4, 2002 shortly after midnight.

They admitted to first going to the Beaver Creak campground and breaking over 29 windows and damaging doors in a shelter.

Then, they went to a residence in Yucatan township and broke a window and gained entry by opening the door handle through the broken window. The two left the scene, however, after an alarm sounded.

Then, Schroeder and OíBieglo went to the construction site of the new middle school/high school and damaged several areas. They pled guilty to burglary in the third degree, felony criminal damage to property and gross misdemeanor theft.

Damage assessments to the three locations are as follows: $18,590 for Beaver Creek; $538.21 for the residence and $18,487.03 for the school.

OíBieglo was represented by attorney James Schultz, Houston, and Schroeder by Gregory Schultz, Caledonia.

Schroeder and OíBiegloís request to have their 8:00 p.m. curfew be lengthened was denied. Curfew, however, was lengthened on two separate occasions for Schroeder. His curfew was raised till 10:00 p.m. for the Caledonia High School graduation ceremony and a graduation dinner.

OíBieglo and Schroeder were given permission to go Wisconsin for work and visitation purposes.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 25, at 11:00 a.m.
