Lillian Anderson

Lillian Adeline Anderson, 83, of rural Spring Grove, died Saturday, November 9, 2002 at Green Lea Manor Nursing Home in Mabel, MN.

She was born January 19, 1919 in Spring Grove to Hans and Ida Maria (Trehus) Wolstad. She was a lifelong Spring Grove area resident. She attended rural Spring Grove schools. On December 27, 1953 she married Boyde Anderson. She worked at Mansfield Industries in Spring Grove.

She was a member of Highland Lutheran Church in rural Decorah, IA, the Highland Naomi Circle, and the American Legion Auxillary.

She is survived by her husband, Boyde Anderson of rural Spring Grove; one daughter, Mary (Terry) Meyer of Winona; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Services were held Tuesday, November 12 at 11a.m. at Highland Lutheran Church in rural Decorah. A private family Interment service was held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Spring Grove. There was no visitation. Pastor David H. Andreae officiated. Roble Funeral Home of Spring Grove was in charge of arrangements.
