Izzie Gengler

Izzie Michael Gengler, 20, of Caledonia, died Sunday, September 29, 2002, in his home. He was born October 11, 1981 in La Crosse, WI, to Nick and Nikki (Carlson) Gengler. He attended Caledonia High School and Bluff Country Learning Options, Hokah. He was employed by Sno-Pac Foods, Caledonia.

Izzie was a very kind, gentle, loving, sensitive soul who touched many lives. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his parents Nick and Nikki Gengler; two brothers, Zach and Seth, of Caledonia; loving companion Tiffany Tweito, Spring Grove; maternal grandmother Jean Ann Thery, Caledonia; paternal grandmother Darlene (Don) Gengler Rom-mes, Caledonia; great-grandmothers, Grace Olson, La Crosse, and Ruth Hahn, Caledonia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by two infant sisters Colette Rose and Anna Marie, paternal grandfather Ramon Gengler and maternal grandfather Arvin Carlson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 3, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Donald Schmitz will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at McCormick Funeral Home where a prayer service will be said at 7:30 p.m.
