Leo Weis

Leo Weis, 92, of Caledonia died Monday, September 16, 2002 at the Lutheran Home, Caledonia. He was born June 24, 1910 in Mayville Township, Houston County to John and Catherine (Bearden) Weis.

Leo was a resident of the Caledonia area all his life. He worked as a farmer for Henry Wiemerslage for 52 years, and was a member of St. Maryís Catholic Church in Caledonia.

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Monica Weis of Caledonia, nephews Clayton (Carol) Weis of Caledonia, Donald and Robert Houlihan both of La Crosse; nieces Beverly (Bill) Chase of Holmen, WI, Rita Chouinard of Crystal, Elaine Houlihan of Milwaukee, WI, Lorraine (Everett) King, Rose (Francis) Weber, Kathy (Howard) Gillen, Rita Lee and Lois Scanlan all of La Crosse, WI. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Weis and two sisters, Lonie and Rose Houlihan.

Mass of Resurrection was Friday, September 20 at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Donald J. Schmitz officiated and burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia.

McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia assisted the family with arrangements.
