Horse and Mule Show expected to draw 3,000Posted: 9/24/02 The Tri-State Horse and Mule Sale has been set for September 26-28 at the Houston County Fairgrounds in Caledonia. Hosted by Randy Myhre, the 3-day sale will feature draft and saddle horses, ponies, miniatures, and mule and light teams. This is the saleís fifth year in Caledonia, and Myhre expects upwards of 3000 people to attend. An estimated 700 head of horses will be up for sale. Sale of harnesses begins at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, followed by Inside Ring collectibles and antiques at 2 p.m., and saddles at 3 p.m. On Friday, September 27, sale of draft horses, draft colts, and light driving teams begins at 10:30 a.m.. Sale of saddle horses, ponies, miniatures, and mule and light teams begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28.
