Posted: 9/9/02 Yvonne DoelyYvonne Lorraine Doely, 73, of Rochester, MN, and formerly of Spring Grove, MN, died Friday, September 6, 2002, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, from surgical complications. She was born August 4, 1929, in Spring Grove, to Anna B. (Myhre) and Theodore C. Doely. She graduated from Spring Grove High School and Winona Business College (Secretarial Course). From 1948-1951 she was employed in the bookkeeping department for Marigold Dairies in Winona; from 1951-1955 she was employed as Deputy Clerk of Court for Houston County in Caledonia; from 1955-1956 she worked in the music publication department at Augsburg Publishing, Minneapolis; from October of 1956 to February 1987 she worked at IBM in Rochester as Senior Administrator. Yvonne was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Rochester, a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove, a member of Senior Citizens Services in Rochester, IBM Quarter Century Club and the IBM Retirees Club, both of Rochester. She is survived by her brother, Arlen T. (Janice) Doely, Spring Grove; three nieces, Sharon (Daryl) Melquist, Mantorville, Donna (Robert) Huberty, Liverpool, NY, Cindy (Daryl) Melbostad, Spring Grove; two nephews, Kevin (Krista) Doely, Plymouth, and Scott (Tracy) Doely, North St. Paul; and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Anna Doely. Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, September 12 at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Spring Grove with Pastor Zane Anderson officiating.
