Dennis Russet

Dennis Lee Russet, 49, of Hailey, Idaho, died Monday, April 14, 2003 after a lengthy illness of cancer at his sister and brother-in-lawís home in Rochester. He was born May 16, 1953 in Norfolk, Virginia Naval Station. He married Linda Younger and they were later divorced.

Dennis graduated from Harmony High School and Winona Technical College in Auto Mechanics. He grew up on a farm in Granger and farmed with his father, Earl and his brother, Rick until moving to Idaho. He was employed for over 20 years by Webb Landscaping in Ketchum, ID, moving back to Rochester 11 months ago. Dennis enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, snow and water skiing, silver mining, water rafting and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Survivors include his mother Margaret Russet, Harmony; a sister Sandra (Robert) Reynolds, Rochester; two brothers, Jerome, St. Francis, and Richard (Candy), Hailey, ID.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Services will be held Friday, April 18, 1:30 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Rochester with the Rev. Steven Ronningen officiating. Burial will be in St. Johnís Lutheran Cemetery in Caledonia with a graveside service scheduled for Friday at 4:45 p.m.

Friends may call Thursday, April 17 from 5-8 p.m. at Ranfranz Funeral Home in Rochester and also one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the church.
