Gas leak on Main Street yields no injuries, no damage

Traffic on Main Street was diverted temporarily late Friday night while the Caledonia Fire Department responded to a reported gas leak at 527 East Main.
The apartmentís tenant smelled gas after coming home and alerted authorities. Caledonia Fire checked the residence, and concluded that the pilot lights on the oven had gone off, releasing a small amount of gas. A survey of the apartment revealed no gas leaks, and there were no injuries and no damage reported.
