Harold Paus
Harold W. Paus, 83, of Eitzen, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center, La Crosse.
He was born January 26, 1920 in Caledonia to Frank and Emma (Deters) Paus. Harold is a graduate of Caledonia High School. On April 30, 1942, he married Norma Pottratz in Eitzen and she preceded him in death on September 4, 1989.
Survivors include one daughter, Dixie Plagge of New Albin, IA; three sons, John (Carol) of Eitzen, Russell (Sally) of Dorchester, IA; and Stanton of Waukon, IA; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Glenn (Alice) Paus of Minneapolis.
In addition to his wife, Harold was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters in infancy, a grandson and one brother.
Services will be Friday, August 29 at 11 am from St. Lukeís United Church of Christ, Eitzen. Pastor Keith Selberg will officiate. Private family burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia on Thursday from 5 pm to 8 pm and at the church on Friday from 10 am until the time of service.
