Thefts reported in Spring Grove, Houston

Break-ins were reported to two vehicles parked on West Main Street in Spring Grove on Tuesday, December 2.

One person reported that the back window of his car was broken out, and someone had attempted to remove the stereo, but was unsuccessful.

Another person reported that someone had taken his vehicle for a drive and then stole the CD player, two speakers and an amp.

Spring Grove Police Chief Paul Folz said they do have a lead on who the suspect is, but have not yet formally charged anyone.

Theft, vandalism in Houston

A body shop in Houston reported that sometime Monday evening, December 1, someone stole an Alpine car stereo out of a vehicle that was being repaired.

Another Houston business reported that on December 2, someone hit two of his vehicles. They also reported that on November 21, a vehicle hit the wall of their car wash, causing several thousand dollars in damage.
