Jacqueline Meiners

Jacqueline Rae Meiners, 46, died Friday, December 12, 2003, in her home in Caledonia. Jackie was born July 30, 1957 in Caledonia to Gilbert and Dorothy (Oakes) Meiners. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1975 and then attended Brown Institute in Minneapolis.

Jackie enjoyed many years as a successful and talented broadcaster in Texas, California and here in the coulee region. She had a special love for working with horses and she loved to travel and socialize with people. Jackie had a friendly and bubbly personality. She was a loving and kind mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her parents, Gilbert and Dorothy Meiners, Eitzen; three children, Jennifer, Bryant and Hailee; two sisters, Rebecca, Eagen, and Sara, La Crosse, WI; one brother, Dana, Eagen; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Services will be Wednesday, December 17, at 2 p.m. at St. Lukeís United Church of Christ, Eitzen. Pastor Tim Douglas will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia is in charge of arrangements.
