Norma Sherburne

Norma Beatrice Sherburne, 89, of Spring Grove, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove. She was born March 3, 1914, in rural Spring Grove to Henry and Clara (Kinneberg) Quinnell. On March 3, 1934, she married William Sherburne and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1991.

She is survived by three sons, Virgil (Dianne) Sherburne, Houston, Dale (Debbie) Sherburne, Mound, MN, and Neil (Cindy) Sherburne, Hamilton, IL; one daughter-in-law, Joan Sherburne, Spring Grove; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold (Evelyn) Quinnell, Caledonia; two sisters, Louella Hanson, Coon Valley, WI and Irene Gaynor, La Crosse, WI.

In addition to her husband William, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald, and one brother, Orvin Quinnell.

Services will be Tuesday, December 16, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Robert Stoskopf will officiate. Friends may call Monday from 5-7 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
