Joan Blais
Joan Eleanor Blais (Kingston), 71, of Minneapolis, MN, died December 28, 2002. She was born August 26, 1931, to Eleanor M. and George A. Kingston. She was the great-great-granddaughter of Col. Samuel MacPhail, founder of Caledonia and Redwood Falls.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Susan Blais Jasperson, Mathew Blais and Amy Marie Blais; one granddaughter; and a sister, Olive Smith.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and Donald; and sister, Irene Slattery.
Private interment services were held at Joanís request. Memorials welcomed to benefit Mary Jo Copelandís Gift of Mary Home for Children or any animal shelter.
