Driver arrested for DWI after one-car accidentPosted: 1/28/03 by Andrew Miller Caledonia Police responded to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on CSAH 12 just west of State Hwy. 44 on January 26. No injuries were reported, but the the vehicle sustained an undisclosed amount of damage and the driver, a 32-year old Caledonia man, was arrested for drunk driving. Damage to cabin on CSAH 12 The Houston County Sheriffís Office was notified on January 22 of a cabin break-in along CSAH 12 in Caledonia. The cabin, belonging to John Sharpless of Madison, WI, sustained an estimated $100 damage to the door, but no items were noted missing form the interior. The case is under investigation. Hot on the trail of trailers B & D Trailer contacted Caledonia Police on January 21 to report the theft of an 8' by 12' black used trailer that had been parked at the Land-O-Lakes lot off State Hwy. 44. The trailer was noticed missing on January 16; it is valued at $800. One day earlier, Jack Elder of La Crescent reported that his trailer had been stolen.
