Klabunde chosen CHS principal for 2003-04Posted: 7/1/03 by Andrew Miller Cory Klabunde has been selected Caledonia High School Principal for the 2003-2004 school year, the ISD #299 school board announced Monday. Chosen from a field of over 40 applicants, Klabunde is leaving his position at Minnewaska Area Schools in Glenwood, MN, where he served as high school principal since August 2001. He served as associate principal at Delano Senior High between in Delano, MN, from September 1996 to August 2001, and has taught physical education in Delano, Buffalo, MN, and San Antonio, TX. Klabunde holds a bachelors degree in K-12 Physical Education, and earned a masters degree in Educational Administration from St. Cloud State University in 1998. He is currently a resident of Starbuck, MN. The CHS principal position in 2003-2004 carries with it a salary of $76,000. The position became vacant after CHS Principal Brian Doty agreed to serve as the middle school principal, the school-to-work coordinator, and the special education coordinator starting in Fall 2003. ©The Argus E-Mail: editor.argus@ecm-inc.com |
