Vandals strike in Brownsville

A section of Main Street was set ablaze and shots were fired at the community center in Brownsville last week.
The Houston County Sheriffís Office received a report of four juveniles shooting a pellet gun at the community center just before 2 a.m. on July 24. A survey of the community center revealed 2 b.b. holes in a window on the east side of the building.
A witness also indicated that the four suspects had poured gasoline across Main Street and lit it on fire.
The Sheriffís Office has placed the matter under investigation. No suspects have been named.
