Teen cited in accident

A 16-year old female was cited on May 29 after a car accident on County Rd. 7 near Hokah.
Tisha Connor, Caledonia, was issued a citation for failure to drive with due care after the one-vehicle rollover.
Minnesota State Patrol, Tri-State Ambulance, Hokah First Responders, La Crescent Police, and the Houston County Sheriffís Department were summoned to the scene just before 3:30 p.m.
The vehicle had landed on its roof and the occupants had crawled out. Two of the vehicleís four occupantsñ a 17-year old male and a 16-year old female- were transported via ambulance to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, where they were treated and released. The driver and an 18-year old male passenger were not transported to the hospital.
The accident report indicated that only two of the vehicles occupants were wearing seatbelts.
MN State Patrol is conducting an investigation of the accident.
