Alma Murphy Ahlfs
On May 1, 2003, Alma M. Ahlfs died peacefully at home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Alma was born to William L. Murphy and Margaret Stoltz Murphy. She remained in Caledonia until she met and married Jerold F. Ahlfs and the Navy kept them on the move. They eventually settled in Fr. Lauderdale, FL. Her children, Scott Michael (Bradley Ahlfs) and Leslie Ahlfs Burget kept her busy as well as the various organizations she was a member of such as PEO, Beaux Arts and the Dental Auxiliary.
She also enjoyed her service as a librarian at the Broward County Library.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Alma was proud of her roots in Caledonia, sharing her many fond memories with her children and grandchildren.
Graveside burial service will be Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia.
