Randall ìRandyî Bruce Bjergum, 46, of Spring Grove, and formerly of Mabel, MN died suddenly, Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at his home in Spring Grove. He was born June 15, 1956, in Houston County, to Otto and Marian (Welch) Bjergum. He was a lifelong area resident. He was a Mabel High School graduate, he also graduated from Northeast Iowa Technical College, in Calmar, IA, with a degree in welding. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove, he was also a member of the Spring Grove Lions Club. He loved welding, hunting, riding motorcycles, collecting things, and the Minnesota Vikings. He had been employed at Roverud Construction of Spring Grove for the last twenty-two years. Survivors include: two sons, Janse and Travis, both of Spring Grove; five brothers, Barry (Sue) Dahl of Rochester, Dennis (Julie) Dahl of St. Paul, Robert Bjergum of Spring Grove, Scott (Sharon) Wisland of Peterson, and Mark (Donna) Vick of Mabel; two sisters, Sharon (Gary) Vick of Mabel, and Bette (Cecil) Jones of Texarkana, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Mary Dahl. Services will be held, Saturday at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church of Black Hammer, rural Spring Grove. Interment will be in the Black Hammer Church Cemetery. Pastor Leonard E. Liptack will officiate.
