Car recovered day after being stolenPosted: 5/13/03 by Andrew Miller A stolen car was recovered in Caledonia just a day after it was reported missing. Brianna Foellmi contacted Caledonia Police on May 7 after her 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen while parked near the corner of Grove and Decorah Streets. Her roommate had noted the car parked there at 6 a.m. the morning of May 5, but by 10 p.m. it was gone. The vehicle was recovered by Foellmiís sister on Richards Drive the morning of May 8 while she was driving to school. Noted was damage to the front bumper, a missing license plate, as well as a missing tent, mattress, and clothing. Caledonia Police have named two juvenile female suspects in the case. Juveniles named in vandalism case Five juveniles have been named in connection with vandalism that occurred last week at a residence on East Grant Street in Caledonia. Gary Klinski of 1218 East Grant Street contacted Caledonia Police after his storage garage and other property sustained damage on May 3. The vandalism included a fence broken in three locations, three windows broken out, a bent basketball hoop, a hole placed in the side of a shed from an ax, and trash left in the garage.
