Meeting for sesquicentennial is tonight

A meeting will be held at 5 p.m. tonight in the basement of Community First Bank to discuss plans for the upcoming Caledonia Sesquicentennial in 2004.
A number of events are being planned, and volunteers are still welcome to attend the meetings.
A sesquicentennial cookbook is already being produced , and souvenir items have been ordered. A commemorative throw is being designed as well. Some of the events planned for the celebration include a sesquicentennial ball, opening of the time capsule buried in 1954, a car show, teen dance, and parade.
