Carrie Hoffman

Carrie (Persons) Hoffman, 41, of Caledonia and formerly of Hewitt, MN died Thursday, May 1, 2003 at St. Maryís Hospital in Rochester. She was born in Bertha, MN to Oscar and Clara Persons on December 26, 1961. She married Jody Hoffman in 1983 in Hewitt and was divorced in 1993. Carrie was employed as a construction worker and enjoyed gardening, woodworking, collecting Precious Moments figurines, reading and the outdoors.

Carrie is survived by son Jeremiah Hoffman of St. Ansgar, IA and daughter Angie Hoffman also of St. Ansgar; brothers Gary Persons, Hewitt; Donald Persons, Parkers Prairie; Dick Persons, Verndale; sisters Barbara Rehm, Henning; Linda Kern, Elk River; Betty Dougherty, Verndale; Patsy Erickson, Hewitt; June Ferguson, Oceanside, CA; Diane Anderson, Cannon Falls, and Mr. & Mrs. Jody Hoffman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Verndale. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Valley Cemetery, Hewitt. Domian-Anderson Funeral Home, Bertha, is in charge of arrangements.
