Posted: 5/6/03 Luella RadmanLuella Ann Radman, 86, of Cannon Falls, died on Sunday evening, April 27, 2003 at the Cannon Falls Community Hospital. Luella was born on June 30, 1916 in Hampton Township, the daughter of Charles and Lena (Pappenfus) Spillman. She graduated from Randolph High School in 1933, and then attended normal teacherís training in Cannon Falls, receiving her teaching certificate in 1934. She taught in rural Northfield in 1934 and in rural Hampton in 1935 and 1936. Luella married Harold L. Radman on October 1, 1938 in Cannon Falls. They were married 63 years when he died on November 12, 2001. Luella has been a resident for the past four years at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls. She was a longtime active member of the First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. She had also been a 4-H leader. She is survived by her three children, Naomi (Vernon) Fruechte, Caledonia, Harlan (Nancy) Radman and Arnold (Myra) Radman, all of Randolph; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Edna Otte. Services were held on Wednesday, April 30 at 2 p.m. at the First English Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls with Pastor Phillip Ruud officiating. Interment followed at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
