MaryLou Nation

MaryLou E. Nation, 71, of Money Creek, died Friday, November 7 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, WI. She was born in Winona on February 23, 1932 to Jacob J. and Ella B. (Severson) Overing.

MaryLou is a life long resident of this area. On October 7, 1950 she was united in marriage to Roger A. Nation. He preceded her in death on October 16, 1980.

She is survived by three sons, Gary (Jean), Rushford, Rodney, Peterson, Bruce (Tammy), Rushford; two daughters, Bonnie (Duane) Meyer, and Judith (William) Grover, both of Rushford; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren and an expected 8th in December of 2003; two brothers, John (Dorothy) Overing and Gordon (Kathy) Overing, both of Winona; and one sister, Lydia (Richard) Frick, La Crosse, WI.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, at 10:30 am, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home, Winona, with Pastor Fauntie Wilcoxon of Money Creek United Methodist Church, Money Creek, officiating.

Friends may call at the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home in Winona on Monday, from 5-8 pm, then on Tuesday until time of services.

Interment will be in Money Creek Cemetery, Money Creek, MN.

Arrangements are being handled by the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Winona.
