Larry Schulze

Larry A. Schulze, formerly of Caledonia, died in his own residence in Minneapolis. He was born to Ormond and Vilas (Johnson) Schulze. He graduated from Caledonia High School in 1971. He attended Mankato State University for a few years before changing his career goals. He completed training for Cosmetology working in the field before expanding his education in Floral Design. He worked as a florist in the Twin Cities area. Most recently he has enjoyed socializing and helping others.

He gained great pleasure from doing floral arrangements for friends and volunteering regularly at a local Senior Meal Site.

He is survived by his eight brothers and sisters, Darlene Mickelberg of Onalaska, WI, Shirley Schulze of Caledonia, Robert (Judy) of La Crescent, Kenneth Schulze of Caledonia, Lois (Merlin) Klein of Caledonia, Mary (Richard) Popp of Evanston, Ill., Richard Schulze, Diane (Ardy Krueger) Schulze, and his sister-in-law Leigh (Schulze) Goetzinger, all of Caledonia; and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Roger, brother-in-law Richard Mickelberg, and niece Jackie Klein.

Services will be held Sunday, November 16, at 2 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, Caledonia. Visitation will be at 1:30. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
