Girls' soccer advancesPosted: 10/24/03 The Caledonia girls' soccer team earned itself a game at the Metrodome with a decisive 4-0 win Thursday evening against the Alexandria Cardinals at Wayzata High School. Goals were contributed by Emily Schmitz, Rachel Ellenz and Brianna Polus. The girls' next opponent is Shakopee (10-9-2) and the game takes place at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 27. If the girls win, they advance to the Championship game at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, and face either Mahtomedi or Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield).
