John Mullen
John Joseph Mullen, 76, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. John was born December 16, 1926, in Brownsville, MN to John and Agnes Mullen. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He married Alice Tessmer in 1950. He was employed by The Trane Company for more than 40 years.
John was a 1947 graduate of Loretto High School. He was very faithful in attending their yearly class reunions.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; and 10 children, John Mullen of Virginia, Jane (Randy) Julian, Nancy (Eric) Anderson, Daniel Mullen, David Mullen, Joseph Mullen, Susan (Lee) Williams, all of California, Richard (Sue) Mullen of Texas, Patrick Mullen and Kathyrn (Arlen) Roesler of Wisconsin; sisters Margaret (Richard) Becker, Patricia Mullen, Bernadette Becker, and brothers, William and Jerome Mullen.
A memorial Mass was held at Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27. Arrangements were with Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
