Posted: 9/11/03 Boyde AndersonBoyde Seney Anderson, 80, of rural Spring Grove, died Monday, September 8, 2003, at St. Maryís Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness. He was born October 9, 1922 in Clear Lake, SD to Bernerd and Sarah (La Seney) Anderson. He was a Clear Lake High School graduate and a graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD. On December 27, 1953 he married Lillian Wolstad, she preceded him in death on November 9, 2002. He had been a resident of the Spring Grove area for 50 years. He was an active member of Highland Lutheran Church, rural Spring Grove, where he served on several church commissions, was a member of the Vintage Aircraft Association, the E.A.A., the Spring Grove American Legion Post #249, the Decorah Flyers, Decorah, IA and various musical groups. He also served in the United States Airforce. Survivors include his daughter, Mary (Terry) Meyer, Winona; two grandchildren; and one brother, Lawrence Anderson, Eugene, OR. In addition to his wife Lillian, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Services will be held Saturday, September 13, 11 am, at Highland Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. There will be a 1:30 p.m. graveside service in the Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery, Spring Grove.
