Sylvester ìBingî Theobald
Sylvester ìBingî M. Theobald, 74, of Caledonia, died Sunday, April 4, 2004 at his home.
He was born October 19, 1929 in Freeburg, MN to Charles and Mary (Pleimbling) Theobald. Bing farmed on the family farm in Winnebago Valley until moving to Caledonia a year ago. He enjoyed working on his antique John Deere tractors.
He is survived by his son Steve (Darla) Theobald, Eitzen; three daughters, Susie (Harold) Heaney, Shari (Charles) Wiegrefe, both of Caledonia, and Shelly (Wayne) Weber, Lansing, IA; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 7, at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Gregory Leif will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, where a prayer service will be said at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
