Rohrer to appear April 14Posted: 4/6/04 By Shannon McKinney An omnibus hearing has been set for the Hokah man facing felony escape and alcohol related charges after a one-vehicle accident sent a Wauwatosa women to the hospital. Thomas Luke Rohrer, 25, is scheduled to appear in Houston County District Court on Wednesday, April 14 at 2:00 p.m. for an omnibus hearing to determine if evidence to be used against him in court was lawfully obtained. Janine Carolyn Kiekhofer, 24, of Wauwatosa, WI was the passenger in the vehicle and had to be airlifted to the hospital after the February 1 accident on Cork Hollow Road at about 11:30 p.m. Rohrer is charged with three counts of felony criminal operation of a vehicle resulting in substantial bodily harm, one count of felony escape from custody and two counts of misdemeanor DUI (Driving Under the Influence). ©The Argus E-Mail: editor.argus@ecm-inc.com |
