Alvina Klug

Alvina M. Klug, 94, of La Crescent, MN, died Friday, August 13, 2004 at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, La Crosse, WI. She was born December 3, 1909 in Freeburg, MN to Michael and Anna (Deufel) Roster. She married Eugene Klug October 25, 1940 in Caledonia, MN. He preceded her in death August 25, 1968.

Alvina is survived by five children, Dale (Rose) Klug, Sacramento, CA, Mary Jean (Ray) Horihan, Canton, GA, Mike (Michelle) Klug, La Crosse, Rita (John) Diekroeger, West Salem, WI, and Pete (Emily) Klug, Menonomee, WI; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister Agnes (Gene) Thomason, Columbus, OH.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice, a sister, Cecelia Roster and a brother Leonard Roster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Monday, August 16, at the Church ofÝÝThe Crucifixion, La Crescent. Msgr. Donald Grubisch will officiate and burial will be in Crucifixion Cemetery, La Crescent. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday morning at the church before the service. Memorials may be given to Crucifixion School.

McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia is assisting the family with arrangements.
