Mary, ìBuntyî Chambers
Mary, ìBuntyî Chambers died Friday, July 16, 2004, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Dr. J. Alan and Vanessa Fleischmann, following a short illness. She was 90 years old.
After spending most of her life in London, she moved to Caledonia with the Fleischmanns in 1987.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia, and her partner, Karl; Vanessa and her husband Alan, and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, in 1983.
A memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, at the United Methodist Church in Caledonia, followed by a celebration of her life at the Fleischmann home at 7 p.m. In keeping with Buntyís wishes, the family requests no black, no flowers and no mourning.
Arrangements are being made by Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home.
