Larry Daniel Doering
Larry Daniel Doering, 50, of Spring Grove, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 20, 2004.
He was born December 30, 1953, in La Crosse to George and Viola (Vetsch) Doering. He was a lifelong Houston County resident, graduating from La Crescent High School in 1971.
On April 1, 1978 he married Maureen 'Reenie' Solie at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove.
He had been employed at Cenex in Spring Grove and was currently working at Wiebkeís Feedlot, also of Spring Grove.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove.
He was an avid outdoorsman and he also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife of Spring Grove; a son Lucas (Jennifer) Doering of Spring Grove; a daughter Michelle (Heath) Olson of Spring Grove; four grandchildren; five sisters, Marilyn (Mervin) Nelson of Mabel; Vilas Anne Doering of Spring Grove; Nancy (Jack) Anderegg of Winona; Connie (Keith) Petras of La Crescent, and Angela (Robert) Burmester of Mabel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David, and a sister, Lola Mae.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. Burial will be in the Trinity Church cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove, and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
