Clifford Moser

Clifford A. Moser, 78, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at his home in Galena, IL.

He was born July 9, 1926 in Chicago, IL. He married Dorothea ěDee Deeî O–sterh¸is November 4, 1950 in Niles, IL.

Clifford was a V5 and V12 Naval Air Cadet. He was a model maker at Schultes Experimental in Niles and Bell & Howell in Lincolnwood where he worked with engineers on ěSurveyor,î the first communications satellite. He moved to Galena, his familyís hometown, where he worked at John Deere Dubuque Works and later at Cenex. He was a graduate of the University of Dubuque.

He is survived by his wife, a sister Dorothy Snyder, three children, Diana (Joseph) Hammell, Glenn (Cindy), Neil (Toni) Moser, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents John H. and Juneva G. (Ecklund) Moser and one brother, Pfc. John H. Moser, Jr., who died on Moratai Island during WW II.

Friends called Thursday in Galena. The funeral was Friday, December 3; Dr. Fred Baltz, Pastor, officiated.
