James ěJimî Olinger
Jim Peter Olinger, 52, died in his home at La Crescent, MN on December 5, 2004, from Multiple Myeloma, a rare blood cancer, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born March 29, 1952 at La Crosse, WI to Harold and Mary Olinger.
He enjoyed working the family farm and hunting. In May 2004, after a stem-cell transplant, he received the Outstanding Conservation Award.
Survivors include his son Brandley Olinger of La Crescent; his parents Harold and Mary Olinger of Freeburg; two sisters Bonnie (Art) Wehrmann, Louisville, KY; and Louise (Ed) Parks, Colorado Springs, CO.
Services will be held at St. Patricks Church, Brownsville on Saturday, December 11 at 11 a.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Breza Hall, St. Patricks Church, Brownsville.
