Caledonia Ford sold to R.W. PladsenPosted: 2/17/04 Caledonia Ford has been sold to RW Pladsen Auto Sales of Waukon, Iowa. The new owners will take over March 1 and operate the business under the name Pladsen Ford. Randy and Deb Myhre have been involved in the business for the past 12 years, and over the last six years have operated the dealership with majority owners Jerry and Barb Peterson of Peterson Automotive in Kenyon. Myhre said he has no definite plans for the future but he and Deb will be seeking outside employment. He said they will miss their customers, but felt it was time to move on.
