Homer Wilson

Homer Allen Wilson, 67, of Caledonia, died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at Gundersen-Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. He was born November 12, 1936 in Potosi, MO, to Ellsworth H. and Lora (Ferrell) Wilson. Homer attended school in Potosi and graduated from high school. He served his country in the armed services during the Korean Conflict. On May 20, 1989 Homer married Adelyn Houge in Caledonia.

Homer was employed as a certified welder in St. Louis, MO, but had worked in every state of the United States. He loved the game of pool, woodworking and logging with his brothers in his younger days.

Survivors include his wife of Adelyn of Caledonia; seven brothers: Charles, Richard (Barbara), Larry (Kathey), Michael, all of Potosi, Ronnie, St. Louis, Eddie (Genelle), Oklahoma, and Dennis (Jean), OíFallon, MO; three sisters: Joann (Joseph) Smith, Marie (Virgil) Barron, and Marylou (Bill) Marler, all of Mineral Point, MO; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Billy; one sister, Sandra; and a cousin, Alice.

Services were Saturday, January 3, 11 a.m., at Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia with Rev. Elizabeth Stempinski officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
